My name is Eimear Kinsella. I am an artist and a bio-imagineer.

My work explores how biological art deconstructs a discourse between nature and culture, creating a society willing to embrace the uncertainty of the post-human era.

Currently undergoing a PhD in Visual Culture and curatorship at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. I have a Bachelor of Design Textiles Art and Artefact degree from National College of Art and Design, Ireland. Growing up on a farm in the South of Ireland, I enjoy creating with every day non-living and living materials, always happy to get my hands dirty. My work takes the form of fine-art encyclopedias, videography, narrative installation art and paintings to aesthetically enhance the communication of bioresearch.
